Despite debt deal,Europe may slide into recession

Dated:November 01,2011

Telecom regulator Trai has suggested doing away with termination charges in a phased manner over the next three years.

Firstly as an NRI you cannot open a new PPF account. Secondly, if you live in the US or UK, you will have to pay tax there on your PPF earnings, withdrawals.

Even if the debt agreement leads to a long-term solution to the crisis, the pact does nothing about other threats to Europe's economy.
