Indian shares snapped a five-week streak of gains on Friday as bellwether Infosys Ltd slumped after disappointing investors with its growth outlook.

HDFC Bank posted results for the Sept quarter in line with expectations. It continued with its consistent performance & posted a 30.1% growth.
