TCS Q2 net up 14.7% at Rs 2,439 cr; marginally below estimates

TCS said net profit for Q2 that ended Sept rose to Rs 2,439 crore ($498 million) in accordance with international financial reporting standards.

The next chief executive of General Electric Co, the largest US conglomerate, could be a non-US national, CEO Jeffrey Immelt said on Monday.

The court also dismissed an appeal filed by Jet which had challenged the earlier HC order asking them to pay balance dues to Sahara at a rate of 9%.
