Average wealth of an Indian triples to Rs 2.70 lakh: Credit Suisse

The average wealth of an Indian nearly tripled in the last 10 years to $5,500, making the country the sixth largest contributer to overall global wealth.

Kapil Sibal said 'Aakash' had generated lot of enthusiasm among Americans and several US cos had evinced interest in the project.

Why would someone build what is widely considered the world's most expensive private residence and then use it as a pied-a-terre?
