EXPERT VIEWS

"I do not wish to go against the wishes of the farmers and the swamiji as I am a pro-farmers man. As such there will be no POSCO steel plant in Gadag district and I am not acquiring fertile farmlands for the purpose."

BS Yeddyurappa

"A Raja, the then Telecommunications Minister, is in jail and has been formally chargesheeted for conspiracy behind the loot and corruption of thousands of crore in the award of 2G licence. However,...the CBI for reasons unknown has not investigated the role of P Chidambaram who was the then FM."

Prakash Javadekar

"I think giving (Home Ministry to NCP) was a mistake. We should have re-looked at it. I don't know of any other coalition government where the portfolios of home, finance and planning are not with the Chief Minister."
