EXPERT VIEWS

"The Prime Minister's much acclaimed and awaited reshuffle has proven to be a damp squib. It is a futile exercise which inspires none and in no way dispels the gloom shadowing the embattled UPA government."

Rajiv Pratap Rudy
BJP Spokesperson
"The reshuffle is not complete yet! ... We did not ask for any replacement portfolios from Pranab Mukherjee. We will decide on all issues relating to the Centre and ministries in our general council meeting (on July 23)."

M Karunanidhi
DMK Chief
(After Cabinet reshuffle) "Jairam has rubbed too many feathers along the way, he's been a bull in a China shop. Jayanthi Natarajan will be a more balanced person."
