EXPERT VIEWS

"Baba Ramdev is more of a businessman than a 'sanyasi'. Even to teach yoga, he charges Rs 50,000 from those who sit in the front seats, Rs 30,000 for the backseat and Rs 1,000 for the last seat. What else is this? If Congress was scared, Ramdev would have been put behind bars. There is no fear that is why he is out in the open and there are discussions with him."

Digvijay Singh
Congress General Secretary
"There was no need for so many ministers to go (to recieve Baba Ramdev). One or two ministers would have been enough for the talks. When so many ministers go, it means there is a plan of fraud. Sign papers, make promises, all this is to pass time. When I went on fast, it reached such a stage that the government conceded to all our demands to save itself. Now, they have backed out."

Anna Hazare
Social Activist
"Don't treat the capital market as a market of speculators. If you look at the IPO process, the prospectus is huge, and in fine print. We will simplify the IPO form. The group has started working and it won't take much time."
